Preview of Coop Levels
Kargo » Devlog
This is part of a series of updates on my 90 Days & Ship It! Jam 2021 journey. 5 weeks left!
Progress Report
The last two weeks I focused on finishing five 2-player levels. This allows me to do some play testing and see which game mechanics work best. I already have a ton of ideas on how to improve the gameplay. The next two weeks will mainly focus on implementing some of these improvements, testing them and redesigning the single player levels.
Here is a list of other changes made to the game:
- Added container frame and fixed pickup/drop behavior
- Fixed positioning and collision boxes for gates
- Added basic transfer zone with directed force
- Refactored key items and allow multiple key requirements per gate
Note
The video at the top shows a preview of the 2-player levels in split-screen mode. Let me know what you think in the comments.
